The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers a five-year program leading to a B.S. in mathematics (at the end of four years) and an M.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education at the end of the fifth year. During the summer between senior year and the fifth year, students enroll in research courses either in mathematics or mathematics education. Interested Saint Joseph's University students apply during the junior year but should consult with Dr. Sandra Fillebrown as soon as possible to be sure they are taking the appropriate courses.
