Two teams (3 students each) of SJU Computer Science and Mathematics students participated in the ACM competition at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on Saturday October 27th with 20 other teams. Simultaneously, 117 other teams at other universities in the Mid-Atlantic region participated in the same contest. We finished 9th and 13th among the 22 teams at Wilkes.

The contest consisted of 8 questions to be solved in 5 hours. Our one team solved 2 problems and the other solved 1. Only 1 team at Wilkes solved 3 problems. Only 4 teams out of 137 regionally solved 4 problems (4 was the most solved by any team in the region).
