On October 10, 2007 SJU undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and faculty gathered for the 2007 Math and Computer Science Career Night. The evening began with pizza and informal conversation among all participants. Next five alumni addressed the large group. They shared valuable advice gained from their experiences with both the job search process and current job market conditions. Then the crowd broke into small groups with an alumnus taking the lead in each. Students spent hours asking questions in this setting. Upon leaving alumni expressed appreciation for the quality of questions posed by the students, and students showed gratitude for the advice they received. Dr. Spencer Gowdy organized the event.
